During my 30+ years of shooting photographs my portrait photography has evolved from using a borrowed camera and photographing friends to it being a significant part of my photography business. I have gravitated from using just natural light to now incorporating more continuous light. Flash often does not allow the subject’s personality and mood to come into the portrait, something I strive to include in my images. I firmly believe that feelings can be seen and I work with my portrait subjects in a professional manner to get the picture that they want for themselves.
